RONA Inc. stands as one of Canada's cornerstone retail networks for hardware, building materials, home renovation, and gardening supplies. Founded in 1939 in Quebec by independent hardware merchants, the brand has evolved into a national network operating over 420 store locations nationwide. RONA serves a wide demographic ranging from DIY weekend renovators to commercial contractors, home builders, and specialized tradespeople across every province.

Through its network of corporate and affiliated dealer stores—including the high-volume RONA+ big-box banners (converted from former Lowe’s Canada locations), traditional RONA proximity hardware stores, and specialized supply divisions like Dick's Lumber—the company provides comprehensive building materials, equipment rental, professional installation services, and structured contractor programs.
