The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection brings the hospitality brand's hotel-level service to the open sea, but booking one of its voyages looks quite different from a typical cruise line. There's no traditional \"cabin\" here — every accommodation is called a suite, and the entire fleet runs on an all-inclusive fare structure. Here's how it actually breaks down, based on details from The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's official site and additional reporting from The Points Guy.

The Fleet

The collection currently operates three ships: Evrima, the first vessel launched in 2022 with 149 suites across roughly 300 square feet and up; Ilma; and Luminara, each carrying around 224 suites and ranking among the more spacious options at sea, according to travel coverage from Ourisman Travel.

Suite Categories

Accommodations range from the entry-level Terrace Suite, which includes a private terrace and generous living space, up through Signature and Grand Suites with separate bedrooms and expanded living areas. At the top sits the Owner's Suite, offering up to 1,000 square feet with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the sea. Higher-tier suites like the Loft Suites and Owner's Suite come with two full bathrooms, while every suite, regardless of category, includes a king-size bed and a double-vanity bathroom.

What's Included in the Fare

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection markets its fares as all-inclusive, and the inclusions go well beyond the room itself. According to details compiled by Kristen Nix Travel, a Ritz-Carlton Stars travel agency, every fare covers suite accommodations, a dedicated Personal Concierge, onboard gratuities for restaurant, bar, and housekeeping staff, multiple dining venues, 24-hour in-suite dining, and beverages including beer, select spirits, wine, soft drinks, coffee, and tea. Onboard entertainment, enrichment programming, marina-style platform access for non-motorized water sports, and Wi-Fi are also included.

What's not covered includes airfare, hotel stays before or after the voyage, transfers, luggage handling, shore excursions, meals eaten off the yacht, and specialty dining at S.E.A., the collection's three-Michelin-star dining experience limited to 28 guests per seating.

How Booking Works

Reservations can be made directly through the official site or through a travel advisor affiliated with Marriott's Ritz-Carlton Stars program, which can add extras like welcome amenities or onboard credit depending on the advisor. Group reservations are also available, generally starting at 12 suites booked together. Suite availability and specific amenities can vary by ship, so checking the current deck plans before finalizing a reservation is recommended.

FAQs

Is airfare included in the cruise fare?
No, airfare, along with transfers and pre- or post-cruise hotel stays, is not included and must be arranged separately.

Are all dining venues on board complimentary?
Most are, with the exception of S.E.A., the specialty dining venue helmed by a Michelin-starred concept, which carries an additional charge.

Do all suites come with the same amenities?
No, higher-tier suites like the Loft Suites and Owner's Suite include features like two full bathrooms that aren't standard across every category.

Can I book through a travel advisor instead of directly?
Yes, booking through a Ritz-Carlton Stars-affiliated advisor can add extras such as welcome amenities, though terms vary by agency.

Conclusion

The Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection's all-inclusive structure means most of what happens on board, from dining to entertainment to gratuities, is already built into the fare. What isn't included, like airfare, transfers, and specialty dining, is worth budgeting for separately when planning a voyage. Checking suite-specific details and current availability directly through the official site or a knowledgeable travel advisor is the most reliable way to confirm what a specific sailing includes.
